I'm working at home today - and I have the 80s Music Station on the TV playing ... love reminicing!
Then on comes "I want your Sex" by George Michael. I was in 8th grade and loved this song ... not because I could relate to it, but because it was inappropirate for an 8th grader to sing.
The other morning, Bob and Sheri were talkiing on the radio about this article. The Cliff Notes is that GM is basically always high and searching for sex (cottaging as they call it over in those parts). I, of course remember their conversation in detail. When the song comes on, I can't help but chuckle at the lyrics - him begging for monogamy and waiting for the right one.
I know there is a lesson in here, but don't really care what it is - I just love the irony!
